Getting started

Everything you need to start playing on CSMIX servers: how to join a server, get any skins for free and level up.

    Pick a mode

    The home page lists all CSMIX modes: PUBLIC, AWP and FUN. Next to each one you can see how many players are in the game right now. Open a mode and you'll get a list of servers with the map and player count. Filters help you hide empty or full servers, and the heart adds a server to your favorites.

    Join a server

    Press the ▶ button on a server card or “Quick play” - Steam launches CS2 by itself and connects you to the server. You can also do it manually: copy the address with the button next to it and type connect address in the CS2 console.

    Sign in to the site with Steam

    Press “Sign in with Steam” at the top of the page. You sign in on the Steam website - we never get your password. After signing in, you'll have a profile with stats, the skin changer and collections.

    Pick skins for free

    Open “Skin changer” in the menu on the left. Choose a weapon, knife or gloves, then the skin, wear, pattern, StatTrak™, stickers, charm and name tag - and press “Apply”. If you're already on a server, the skin changes right away. You can pick skins separately for T and CT.

    Level up

    You earn XP for kills, assists and round wins. There are 100 levels in total, each with its own icon. Your level, progress and detailed stats are in your profile, and the “Leaderboard” shows your place among all players.

    Build a collection

    Save your skin set as a collection and make it public - other players will be able to like it or apply it to themselves. You can browse and apply other players' collections right in the skin changer.

    Change the language

    The site language is chosen at the bottom of the menu on the left. When you sign in with Steam, the site language and the in-game menu language are linked: change it on the site and it changes in the game too.

    Play fair

    Read the Project rules: cheats, insults and hindering your own team are punished. If you see a violation or disagree with a punishment, write to [email protected].
